My New Follows in Tech Podcast Land
If information can flow backwards in time, and someone told the younger me that my main source of entertainment in the year twenty twenty-six is a bunch of audio programmes where nothing happens except people talk to to people on microphones, the younger me will be very surprised.
Just like books where I know I will never finish reading all of them that I want to read, so too are podcasts. Recently, I've just unfollowed one tech podcast that I am no longer interested in listening, but I've followed three more.
My podcast queue will never go empty.
The first series has John Siracusa talking to Jason Snell and Myke Hurley on old operating systems. What's there not to love?
Like The Rest is History, it is likely this podcast will have topics that are interesting to me, and topics that I am not interested. If you are using a podcast player like Castro, you can triage each new episode as they come in.
The first two episodes have the host talking to guests Niléane and Stephen Hackett about recent news. Worth a listen even while host D Griffin Jones is, I think, trying to find a footing and decides what kind of podcast this is.
This is not a new podcast, but I've just discovered it: a few long time Mac users talking about apps on Macs.
