Inedible Food That Looks Good, Versus Inedible Food That Is Not Real
I always thought that food in advertisements are typically not the actual food, and may in fact be inedible. The objective is to make the food look good in photographs and videos, not to make it taste good. That juicy and succulent and savory hamburger you see in the commercial is probably not fit to be eaten. There are professional photographers that know how all the tricks and techniques in creating attractive food in advertisements.
And then, there is food created by AI.
